where to swim at…
bondi beach

You can’t go to Bondi and not swim at one of Australia’s most iconic beaches. Bondi Beach is safe for competent swimmers as long as you swim between the flags and are patrolled by the Bondi Lifeguards. Its white sand stretching more than 1km and crystal blue waters are something that needs to be experienced for yourself!

If you have your heart set on swimming in the beautiful Icebergs pool then we have good news - it is open to the public. It costs $9 for adults and $6 for children. If swimming in the warmer months there is a sauna to warm up and included in the price of admission.

meditate by the sea at…
the sit

The Sit movement began in 2018 in response to the alarming increase in suicide rates and mental health experienced in the Northern Beaches community.

Mindfulness meditation is now recognised as an effective treatment for mental health issues including stress, anxiety and depression. The Sit community not only provides weekly opportunities to experience the benefits of meditation and mindfulness but is a hub that shines a light on themes like gratitude, sharing, kindness and so on.

Their sunrise Sits are for everyone, so if you’re in the mood for an early morning meditation session (6:30am) come down to the beach and enjoy.
